Our world can be cruel and wild, which makes keeping your morals challenging. Because in the attempt to engage with the world, we are often confronted with tough choices, and dilemmas leading to some sort of internal tension. In the case of our morals, it emerges as an ethical conflict.
Norms are indispensable if we must develop as a society and as individuals. However, those societal standards or expectations may sometimes conflict with your interests and desires, and this leads to Intrapersonal or internal societal conflict.
A spontaneous person does what they believe is right, without depending on external motivation. They can commit and do what it takes even when the external environment or circumstances are not pleasant…even when they don’t feel like it.
Stories are powerful because they inspire people to think and act, since, it doesn’t only appeal to their logic, but emotions as well.
We must talk about mental health not just because it informs and encourages those with (or at risk of) mental health crises to seek help (or do something), but because ignoring it permits (and in some cases worsens) avoidable suffering.
People are conscious of what they are associated with, many people don’t want to be seen demanding money all the time because they don’t want to appear greedy and selfish, many don’t want to be heard talking about sex all the time because they don’t want to appear immoral, and so is the attitude towards several other matters.
