Much of life is all about getting lucky (i.e. succeeding due to chance). This is because life is all about probabilities – probability of the universe coming into existence, a planet forming, life emerging, you getting born (with complete limbs), etcetera. Everything is anchored on some degree of chance (or luck).
I am not always proud, happy, or in love with myself. Sometimes I even resent myself (which is me being too hard on myself). I struggled (and still struggle) with my self-worth. However, over the years (in course of my personal development) it has become increasingly overt to me that that way of thinking is not only unhealthy but ridiculous.

The desire to be considered special isn’t something we learn; it is rather something inherent inside of us – it is deep-rooted in our psyche, just as much as the craving for food. But here is the question, are we special in any practical sense? If this desire and belief that we are special are shared by so many, is there truly any special person? And most importantly, What makes you special as a person?

A lot of people are under serious pressure to succeed in life – partly due to the increased connectivity of the world which makes us hyper-aware of the super-successful, and partly due to the unsettling rise of wrongdoers to the top…It makes one wonder, “do you have to be evil to be successful in life?”
competition is inevitable. There is a dire need to step up, to stay above the water, to survive… And Kaizen is how you do it. Life requires that you stay ahead. Because, if you’re not doing better than the Tigers, then you would be Tiger food. If you are not doing better than the snakes, you would be homeless. Even the rodents are in competition for your food. We are left with only one choice: “stay one move ahead”
